Privacy Policy
PinPulse shows statistics for Pinterest pins inside your browser. It has no servers of its own, no accounts, and no analytics or tracking. This page explains the small amount of data it handles and where that data goes. Nothing leaves your browser except requests to Pinterest itself.
What PinPulse handles
| Data | Why | Where it stays |
|---|---|---|
| Pin data Pinterest shows you (saves, reactions, comments, post date, titles, image links) | To display stats on pins and sort them | Your browser tab only |
| Your panel settings (sort order, filters, badge options) | To remember your preferences | Your browser storage |
| Pins you choose to save | To keep them in your Saved list | Your browser storage |
Pinterest data
PinPulse reads the pin information that Pinterest already loads on the pages you visit. When a pin's stats are missing, it may request that pin's public details from Pinterest, the same way the Pinterest website does. This data is kept in memory for the open tab and is cleared when you close it. It is never sent to the developer or to any third party. PinPulse does not read your Pinterest password, messages or private boards.
Payments
PinPulse is currently free and takes no payments. If paid features are added later, this policy will be updated before they launch to explain how purchases and licenses are handled.
What PinPulse does not do
- It does not sell or share your data.
- It does not use your data for advertising, credit decisions or anything unrelated to showing pin stats.
- It does not collect your browsing history outside pinterest.com.
- It does not load remote code.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling PinPulse removes everything it stored in your browser, including your settings and saved pins. You can also remove saved pins one by one from the Saved tab.
